Flint Street Party
A kind-hearted volunteer who was honoured by meeting The Queen is now helping to organise a street party for The Royal Wedding. Nora Williams, aged 67, of Thomas Street in Flint, and also the residents in the surrounding area, will be hosting the family-friendly event in honour of Prince William and Kate Middleton on April 29th. Nora, a former manager at a seafood factory in Greenfield, is looking to bolster community spirit after she spoke to Her Majesty The Queen as a reward for her tireless work running after-school clubs and litter picks. Full details.
