Welshpool Street Party

A giant television screen will be placed in the grounds of one of mid Wales's most popular attractions as part of celebrations to mark The Royal Wedding. As well as allowing the visitors to watch the event unfold, Powis Castle in Welshpool will hold a day-long Garden Party on April 29th to mark the marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton. The free event is being jointly organised by The National Trust and Welshpool Town Council. Full details.
